We are a family business, and we have always thought of our communities as an extension of that family.
Since we baked our first loaf in 1876, we have supported the neighbourhoods where we work and live.
Through the Warburtons Foundation, we are focusing our efforts on supporting families across the UK. We are investing in education, driving fundraising, and donating products to build stronger, more resilient communities. We have set ourselves ambitious targets because the need is real, and we believe we have the passion to make a genuine difference.
We don’t just talk about community support; we put our money where our mouth is. We invest directly into community initiatives and education.
Whether it is tackling food insecurity, supporting health research, or providing grants to local grassroots projects, our goal is to give families the support they need to bake the most of life. We aim to reach 125,000 children through our education programmes every year and donate £100,000 annually to local charities through our community grant programme.

CASE STUDY: MAGIC BREAKFAST
No child should start the day too hungry to learn. Our partnership with Magic Breakfast tackles morning hunger head-on. In the last year alone, we donated nearly 2 million portions of bread to over 250,000 children. Beyond this, we donate roughly 2 million products annually to food banks, because a simple slice of toast can make a massive difference.
CASE STUDY: SUPPORTING CANCER RESEARCH UK
Cancer affects 1 in 2 people in Britain. It has touched our family and our colleagues, which is why we support Cancer Research UK. Our colleagues have climbed mountains and baked thousands of cakes to raise money. We are proud to have set a target to raise a total of £4 million for Cancer Research UK by September 2026.
