What's the best way to apply?If you've looked through our job search section and found one you're interested in, simply click on the link to apply straight away, or create an 'account' and save it to your job 'basket' to apply later. Don't miss the closing date though!
What will my application involve? You'll find the process simple and we'll guide you through the application form. We'll ask you about personal details, experience and why you want to work for us. Depending on the job, you might need to complete some simple tests too.
Will there be an interview?We use interviews and selection events. Most first stages are either a telephone or face-to-face interview, which will have a mix of questions around technical, success and value matters to make sure we're right for you as much as you're right for us.
At a selection event, what sort of tests can be included?There'll be a number of different exercises depending on the vacancy. These can include psychometric tests, role plays, in-trays, presentations, group discussions, personality questionnaires and case studies. You'll find practice tests at www.shldirect.com.
Can I ask questions at the interview?Of course! We positively encourage you to ask questions, as this is your opportunity to find out more about the position and the people you'd be working with. It means you can make an informed decision if we offer you the job.
