Distribution
In this key role it will be your responsibility to ensure that our fresh high quality products reach the customer to the agreed timescales required. This is no mean feat, as you’ll be delivering to a large number of customers along a designated route consisting of 24-hour supermarkets and smaller local stores.
You’ll need a flexible approach to working hours as deliveries take place early in the morning to ensure that customers have fresh products available each day. Able to work independently and under pressure to agreed timescales, you’ll need to communicate effectively with key contacts in store. You’ll also need to hold a licence to be able to drive a minimum 7.5 tonne vehicle.
In addition to bakery to store drivers we also employ drivers who transport products between our bakeries and depots. Working a designated shift pattern, these position involve driving larger vehicles where you will require a Class 1 licence.
We also have opportunities available in our Despatch teams based in our bakeries and depots across the country. Working a shift pattern, which may typically involve working nights, our despatch teams ensure that bakery products are sorted into customers orders, ready to be loaded into vans for delivery to our customers.
