Production Operative

My role as production operative is varied. In one day I have sieved and weighed the hand ingredients, mixed the dough, ran the dividers and watched pinning as well as checking final prover settings and taking core temperatures from the bread cakes coming out of the oven, that’s why I enjoy working here because every day is different. The team is multi-skilled and because of this we are able to help each other out.

The biggest challenge at work is stepping up to cover the team leader, which I sometimes do when required, but it’s a challenge I enjoy. I also enjoy working for Warburtons because there is a real family environment. I take great pride in working for Warburtons - it’s really rewarding to know that you are making quality bread for the public.
