Kids parties are great fun – providing you are prepared!!!
As far as food is concerned try and stay away from large meals and have lots of
snacks, that way even the fussiest of eaters will find something they like!
If possible food should be pre-prepared before the party and served cold to ensure
you can plan and prepare in advance to keep things under control on the day.

Happy Pizza Faces
Ingredients:
- 1 slice of Wholemeal Bread per pizza face
- Grated cheese
- Tomato puree or ketchup
- Suggested toppings - peas, cherry tomatoes, green peppers, fresh basil
Cut one circle of bread from each slice of Wholemeal Bread. Lightly toast the circles
then spread a layer of tomato ketchup or puree and grated cheese on top. Let your
children make a face from their favourite toppings. Place under the grill until
the cheese bubbles, allow to cool and enjoy!

Smiley Faces
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of Milk Roll
- Mild Cheddar cheese - grated
- Cocktail sausages - cooked and split in half
- Cherry tomato halves
- Tomato sauce
Take 2 slices of bread and lightly toast one side. On the un-toasted side sprinkle
with cheese and melt under the grill. Decorate with tomatoes for eyes, sausages
for smiley mouth and tomato sauce for hair.

Mini Sausage Rolls
Ingredients:
- Warburtons Sandwich Rolls
- Cooked mini hot dog sausages
- Shredded cos lettuce
- Mayonnaise
- Tomato ketchup
Slice a Warburtons Sandwich Roll in half and spread the bottom half of the roll
with a little mayonnaise. Top with shredded cos lettuce and 3 or 4 cooked mini hot
dog sausages. Squirt over a good helping of tomato ketchup and serve straight away
in napkins.
Perfect for quick and easy party time treats.

Then for dessert simply let the kids make their own using Warburtons pancakes and
a number of different ice creams, toppings and sauces like these Simple Summer Pancakes:

Halloween Trick or Treat
Serves 6 people
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- Warburtons Fruity Teacakes
- 1 Banana (not too ripe)
- 1 Orange
- 25g Soft margarine
- ¼ Tsp ground cinnamon
- 25g Soft light brown sugar
Peel banana and cut into chunky slices. Put margarine, cinnamon and sugar into bowl
and mix well until combined. Toast teacakes on both sides. Place on board and spread
each teacake with the mixture of margarine, sugar and cinnamon. Cut each half into
quarters. Alternate banana, orange and teacakes onto either wooden or kebab skewers.
Place on a plate and serve with sliced apples.

Ice Cream Delight
Serves 2 people
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 Warburtons Pancakes
- A couple of scoops of your favourite ice cream
- A little chocolate sauce
Lightly toast two pancakes and serve them with two scoops of your favourite ice
cream. Drizzle with some chocolate sauce and serve immediately (while the pancakes
are still warm).

Christmas Stars
Serves 2 people
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 6 Potato Cakes
- 6 slices of turkey
- 1 small jar of cranberry sauce
Great as a festive starter or a Boxing Day lunch - take Warburtons potato cakes
and, using a star-cutter, create the shapes. Then pop them in the toaster and top
with a slice of turkey and a generous teaspoon of Cranberry sauce. By the way, don’t
throw away the left over bits of potato cake - use them with other Christmas day
leftovers as the basis for a fry-up.

You could send out invitations reflecting the theme, decorate the room and have
