Here's some great suggestions on how you can incorporate Warburtons products into a healthy diet:

Breakfast:

 
We recommend our famous Crumpets toasted or grilled as each one is less than 1% fat, topped with a low fat spread they really are a healthy way to start the day! Crumpets

Smoked Wholemeal Salmon

Ingredients:

  • Warburtons Wholemeal Bread
  • A couple of slices of smoked salmon
  • Lettuce
  • Reduced calorie mayonnaise

Fill two slices of the bread with slices of the salmon, crisp lettuce and reduced calorie mayonnaise. Adding a little horseradish sauce goes great with the salmon, and gives the sandwich a little extra zing.

Smoked Wholemeal Salmon

Fish, in particular salmon, tuna, mackerel, and herring are a great source of omega-3 fatty acids that may help guard against cardiac death and may also inhibit the development of heart disease.

You can even try:

Fruity Pancakes

Serves 2 people
Preparation time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 Warburtons Pancakes
  • A few pieces of your favourite fruit
  • Cream

Simply take your pancakes from the pack, add some fruit and pour over some cream. Just perfect!

Healthy tips!

Drink 8 glasses of water a day. This is important to keep you hydrated and regulate your body processes.

Strips of carrots, celery and sweet peppers make a tasty snack for anytime of the day – and they’re a lot healthier than chocolate bars!

Substitute honey for sugar in hot drinks.

Serve dried fruit at breakfast such as raisins.

We all know how hard it is to fit in exercise when you have a busy family life, so why not try these top hints to get that little bit more healthy and active.

  • Walk instead of drive.
  • Meet a friend for a chat and instead of sitting and drinking tea and coffee – go for a walk together.
  • Enjoy a family walk.
