Big Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients:

Toast and butter four slices of Warburtons Toastie Loaf. Build up with layers of your favourite breakfast treats – try a layer of crispy bacon and tomato, one of sausages and mushrooms, and one of fried eggs.

Ham ‘N’ Egg Scramble

Ingredients:

Slice a Warburtons Batched Sandwich Roll downwards into kid-sized slices, and toast them lightly under the grill. 

Scramble an egg, and place it on the plate next to the toast. 

Finally, place a slice of ham on the plate and garnish with a cherry tomato for a healthy breakfast.

Tip: Try adding some tomato sauce.

Cheese & Bacon Crumpets

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Grill your bacon then gently toast your crumpet under a grill. Top with the pre-cooked bacon and then sprinkle the cheese on top and return to grill until cheese melts and bubbles. Serve immediately.

Big Breakfast Muffin!

Ingredients:

Place slices of smoked salmon on the base of the muffin. Scramble eggs, add some chopped chives, pile onto salmon and top with remaining muffin half. Serve immediately.

Crumpet and Egg

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 20ml milk
  • Knob of butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • Small shaped pastry cutter
  • 1 pack of Warburtons Crumpets

Toast the crumpets on both sides under the grill. While you're doing this, combine the eggs, milk, salt, pepper and butter in a pan. Heat gently, stirring, until the eggs are creamy and scrambled.

Cut a hole in the crumpets with the pastry cutter, butter the crumpet and fill with the scrambled egg.

And don't waste the 'hole' you've cut out – they make delicious mini-crumpets.

Ingredients:

Heat the beans, fry the mushrooms and egg, and grill the bacon. Then stack each filling between two Potato Cakes in any order you like to make a great big, hunger-busting stack of energy food.

Great Big Bite Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 3 slices of 800g Wholemeal
  • 1 scrambled egg
  • 2 sausages
  • 2 rashers of bacon
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced mushrooms
  • Brown sauce or tomato sauce

Whilst grilling the sausages, bacon and tomatoes, heat the scrambled egg, cook the mushrooms and toast your slices of 800g Wholemeal. Place a slice of toast on the plate, halve the sausages lengthways and arrange them across the bread. Add a layer of scrambled egg, pressing it down with the back of a fork. Add a second slice of toast, then lay your bacon rashers and grilled tomatoes on top. Add a dash of brown sauce or tomato sauce. Add the last slice of toast, lightly press the sandwich together and enjoy!

Top tip! For a gourmet version, use Cumberland sausages, cherry tomatoes and add some cream to the scrambled egg.

Bigger Breakfast

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of Warburtons Potato Cakes
  • Egg, bacon, sausage, tomato, beans, mushrooms… in fact, whatever makes up your favourite cooked breakfast!

Simply prepare and serve a hot Potato Cake with your breakfast - it makes a perfect alternative to toast. Place the Potato Cake under a pre heated grill for 2-3 minutes turning once until both sides are golden brown.
