Cheese and Ham Triple Decker

Ingredients

  • Warburtons Milk Roll
  • Grated cheese
  • Thinly sliced ham

Method

  1. 1
    Lightly toast 3 slices of Milk Roll. Top first slice with ham, second slice with cheese and finish with third slice.

Baked Fruit Meringues

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Warburtons Fruit Loaf with Orange
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 2 large eggs, separated
  • 200ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 50g caster sugar
  • 400g fruit filling - try red berries and slices of fresh orange

Method

    Pre-heat oven to 180°C and grease 4 individual baking dishes with butter.

    Tear up 1 slice of Fruit Loaf with Orange into each dish. Beat together the egg yolks, milk, vanilla extract and half the sugar. Share between the dishes and allow to soak for 5 minutes. Transfer to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, until set.

    Remove the pudding dishes from the oven and share the fruit filling between them.

    Whisk the egg whites in a grease-free bowl until they hold their shape. Add the remaining sugar and whisk again until stiff and glossy. Pile on to the fruit, then return to the oven and bake for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Serve immediately.

Barbecue Chicken and Vegetable Skewers

Ingredients

  • Warburtons Sandwich Rolls
  • Thin sliced chicken breast
  • Tomato relish
  • Red onion
  • Crispy lettuce
  • Red, green and yellow peppers
  • Miniature sweetcorn

Method

  1. 1
    Fill a roll with a generous amount of salad, top with griddled or barbecued chicken and tomato relish. Serve with griddled or barbecued vegetable skewers.
