The two screens may be used in a variety of ways:

• To stimulate discussion about Food Safety issues.
• As the basis for planning research into Food Safety issues.
• As the basis for a risk assessment exercise.
• To provide ideas from which children create their own health and safety posters or multimedia presentations.

Children will be able to discuss the issues, exploring the 'hot spots' on each screen, identifying hazards and risks. Information about an associated subject - Health and Safety in the flour and grain milling industries may be a topic for students to research and report on using the HSE website.

Use the risk assessment factsheet to undertake risk assessment exercises either based on the scenarios on the Warburtons website, as a homework activity in children's own homes, in the school canteen or in food technology areas at school.
