website for more information at www.trustwarburtons.co.uk
Whether it’s supporting road safety initiatives or simply presenting donations and equipment to local groups, Warburtons heart lies at the centre of the community it serves. We try our utmost to support schools and local charities in all of our trading area.

Dough for Dough
Warburtons makes ‘dough’ – nations across
all of its trading regions as far North
as Falkirk, Scotland, to the South in Watford,
London. To celebrate Warburtons 130 year
anniversary, the family pledged £130 to
130 different charities.
In 2002 Warburtons created and
funded the ‘Make a Difference
Appeal’ a project aimed at helping
charities in the Midlands. The
selected charities are primarily
family and local community orientated,
such as the Hereford Playcare
Association and the Bicester
Fire Station.

Schools Initiatives
Crammed full of practical information for children of all ages, Warburtons sponsored Crime Packs include information on how to give first aid, the dangers of smoking, alcohol abuse and guidelines on how to deal with day-to-day issues, such as bullying and teasing in the school environment.
Bread and Sandwich Making Workshops
The Warburton family takes its baking expertise and knowledge into local schools with its Bread and Sandwich Making Workshops. These Workshops aimed at year 5/6 children (aged 9-12) and year 3/4 children (aged 6-9) are fun, yet educational, bringing learning to life for children. They have been developed in line with the National Curriculum, which stipulates children should cover a practical application relating to bread and knowing the importance of a healthy balanced diet.
Warburtons values its relationship with local communities and will continue to ‘roll’ out further initiatives in the future.
